Heathens
You must keep your towns safe from vikings and starvation until the king's soldiers can save you. There are six different types of buildings to pay attention to, along with food supply, money, and vikings. Keep the invaders at bay with forts while keeping an eye on your economy and food.
The web build has very small screen size and we ran out of time to fix it, so if you can download it, the windows version is much better since it is full screen.
RULES:
The objective is to survive for 5 minutes so the that the king's army can save you from the viking invaders.
There are 6 types of buildings on the board:
Ten towns are randomly placed and clustered on the board from the start. They cannot be placed or moved. If you drop below five towns, you lose the game.
Markets increase your income, and can only be placed next to towns.
Farms can be placed anywhere on the board and produce a food income. Without food, your towns will starve and die. Farms only function for a certain amount of time before disappearing. The space they leave can be built on by anything other than another farm.
Barracks (flags) must be placed next to towns. They strengthen your forts regardless of where they are compared to the forts.
Forts distract vikings within two tiles of them and will take some time to be destroyed. If barracks are present on the board, they will last much longer against vikings.
Roads (horses) only work if connected in a line of at least six roads. Once activated, any farm or market bordering the road will be boosted, increasing its productivity.
Important rules:
Vikings move towards your towns but prioritize forts within their sight range (2 tiles). They burn the land they cross, leaving unusable scorched earth.
Food supply decreases rapidly if farms are not abundant in the early game, so be sure to watch the food supply as starvation kills towns quickly.
Roads and the boosts they provide are essential to efficient food and money economy, so try to use them as much as possible!
If you lose a few towns, do not despair; you can still win if you keep 5 alive!
Have fun!

Ok So The First And The Worst Part Of This Game Is The Introduction. Because When I Load In I Am Met With A Player I Cannot Control And Some Objects On The Right. Now What Are The Objects For, It Isnt Explained. The Artwork and Sound Design Carry The Game Rn. But If You Can Make A Tutorial Level Or Quick "Slideshow" Of What Everything Does It Would Be Amazing.
Actually, there is a slideshow showing what everything does! You can access it by clicking the "rules" button on the title screen. That brings you to a few pages explaining the rules of the game and what each building does. Hopefully this helps you!
